About the role
At Imterix, we build AI, robotics, cloud, and cybersecurity platforms that power mission-critical operations for global leaders in finance, healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build the mission control interfaces and backend services that make our complex deep-tech platforms accessible, performant, and resilient.
You won't be building simple marketing sites or standard CRUD apps—you will architect low-latency dashboards, real-time telemetry visualizers, complex AI/robotics control centers, and security management consoles engineered to withstand continuous production stress.
What you will do
- Build High-Performance User Interfaces: Architect and ship responsive, accessible frontend applications in React and TypeScript that cleanly visualize high-density data (e.g., live robotics streams, AI inference traces, threat maps). Architect Resilient Backend APIs: Design and deploy low-latency, scalable microservices and APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) to connect web clients to backend cloud infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, and robotics systems.
- Enable Real-Time Systems: Implement WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), or WebRTC connections to stream live telemetry, sensor data, and system health metrics to client dashboards. Security & Access Control: Enforce zero-trust frontend and backend security practices, granular Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), OAuth2/OIDC authentication, and data encryption standards.
- System Optimization: Drive end-to-end performance tuning—optimizing database queries, bundle sizes, rendering paths, and memory usage across complex web applications. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Partner directly with robotics engineers, AI researchers, cloud architects, and product managers to refine user workflows and turn technical capability into seamless operator experiences.
What we are looking for
- Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Zustand / Redux Toolkit, React Query. Data Visualization & Real-Time: D3.js, Chart.js, Three.js / WebGL (for 3D digital twins or robotics interfaces), WebSockets.
- Backend: Node.js / TypeScript, Python (FastAPI), or Go. Databases & Cache: PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or time-series databases. Infrastructure & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWS / GCP, Terraform.
- 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience shipping production-grade software. Deep mastery of modern TypeScript, React, state management, and component architecture.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals in Node.js, Python, or Go, including relational database modeling and API design. Practical experience working with real-time data streaming and asynchronous event architectures. High standards for code quality, automated testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright), and frontend/backend security practices (OWASP).
